Good question. Well… what is my fav new girl episode so far?
I guess a normal person would say a kiss episode or a great nick and jess episode.
But for me it was the end of Re-launched (2x01). It was so beautiful to see Zooey Jess being vulnerable, crying not about a boy, not about nick, not about someone else but about herself and her future. That is were I am in life.
Truth be told, in some ways I do think Jess was a little bit over reacting because in real life, teachers get fired and rehired all the time. However, zooey, as the genius actress, found the truth and vulnerability in that moment of not knowing were your life is going to go.
Actually, I have never seen zooey play such vulnerability in any of her movies. Think about that.
Also, I find it interesting that Jess is 30 and she acts like she is 19. It’s reassuring to know that I am not alone.
